Just a info note. With all the hoopla honoring WV's Senator Byrd as the oldest member of the Senate, no-one mentions anymore that at one time he was a participating member of the Ku Klux Klan. In view of some of his rrecent votes and comments, I'm not sure that he has definitely changed his views from those of the KKK.

Franklin Newman replied to a comment by Franklin Newman on The Tarot "By the way, has anyone here ever tried using a tarot reading to gain insight into the story they're writing? It works beautifully, because it opens your mind up to options and twists you haven't considered." more Nov 23, 2009 10:43PM EST
Franklin Newman commented on a post "What a great post this was. Thank you for your information. But then, I've been reading tarot for years, and collecting them. I'm working on a pack of my own, but progress halted after the Major Arcana. . . ." more Nov 23, 2009 10:41PM EST

We refuse to be ignorant. We refuse to have tunnel vision. Everyone is welcome, whether you are black, Latino, white, Asian, or anything else, or any other mix of races; Jewish, Sikh, Buddhist, Shintoist, Wiccan, Christian, Ba'hai, Hinduist, Muslim, . . .
We refuse to be ignorant. We refuse to have tunnel vision. Everyone is welcome, whether you are black, Latino, white, Asian, or anything else, or any other mix of races; Jewish, Sikh, Buddhist, Shintoist, Wiccan, Christian, Ba'hai, Hinduist, Muslim, Agnostic, or Atheist; women, men, children; Democrat, Republican, Green Party, or something else altogether; fat, thin....okay you get the point.
We wish to look at all sides of an issue, event, or situation, not just one or even two perspectives. We wish to balance the thousands of individual positions as well as the bloc, or group positions, and hopefully to become a think tank so as to develop practical solutions for current issues that will satisfy all sides, not just one or two sides. We want to be open-minded, nonconformist, knowledgeable about the opposition's arguments, and above all, decent and respectful, and truly desiring to create a better world. After all, it starts with one person, and every one in this group is one. How many can we become? 1+1 HERE can equal 3 instead of 2. We are fugitives from the powers of ignorance, conformity, and peer pressure. We must think for ourselves, and reason for ourselves, and not take in what our neighbors/parents/spouses/teachers/governments are telling us like we're sponges. Together we will create a better world. It starts with one. Group Stats
